As Executive Administrator to the CIO, Katy provides complex executive support, manages the activities of the Office of the CIO, and engages in a broad range of special projects involving research, analysis, and program evaluation.
Katy began her career in TTS in 2015 as a temporary staff member in Business Planning and Administration (BPA). Within a few months, she joined BPA permanently as a Business Services Administrator. In 2017, she was promoted to the position of Business Services Program Administrator. In this role, Katy supported the Office of the CIO two days per week, managed various TTS efforts, such as the Bunker Hill Community College Internship Program and the Behavioral Interviewing process, and served as program administrator for the CAREs subcommittee. Prior to Katy’s arrival at Tufts, she held various administrative positions at local non-profit organizations, including LIFT-Boston Region and Catholic Charities. She also spent a year abroad in South America working in the hospitality industry.
Katy holds a B.A. in Global Studies and Latin American Studies from Colby College. She is currently working towards a Certificate in Program Evaluation from Tufts University and will begin her part-time studies towards an M.A. in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University in Fall 2018.
