Theresa M. Regan
Theresa oversees the operation, development and enhancement of Tufts enterprise infrastructure and operations and support; and leads TTS in providing robust IT services to the Tufts faculty, students and staff. Within TTS, she is responsible for data center operations, voice and data communications, Tufts’ wired and wireless networks and the infrastructure on which most of Tufts’ enterprise services run. Throughout her career, Theresa has led or been a principal contributor on a series of efforts shaping information technology within higher education and the private sector. She has overseen the development of next-generation data centers, led the implementation of enterprise email, VoIP, campus-wide wireless, server virtualization, and the creation of a regional optical network.
Theresa joined Tufts from MIT where she worked in the Information Services and Technology department for 16 years, serving in the roles of Senior Project Manager, Director of Office Computing Practice and, most recently, as Director of Operations and Infrastructure Services. She is proactive in building strong bridges within and across departments, labs, and centers and for these efforts was awarded an MIT Excellence Award for Serving the Client.
Theresa holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Skidmore College and is a member of EDUCAUSE. She is an avid sports enthusiast, theater and dance patron, and an enthusiastic world traveler.
