Office 365 Email Setup

Office 365 Email Setup

Tufts University is in the process of migrating email accounts from Microsoft Exchange to Microsoft Office 365 email. If you aren’t sure which email system your account is currently using, please go to the Email at Tufts page. The instructions on that page will enable you to determine which email system you are on.

If you determine that your account is already using Office 365 email, instructions are provided below for setting up your Tufts mail on personal computers and mobile devices (e.g. iPads, tablets, and mobile phones).

Note for Students: Students who will be graduating can keep their @tufts.edu email address by having incoming email forwarded to a personal account. To send your @tufts.edu email to a personal account, follow the step-by-step instructions on the Forwarding Your Tufts Email page. If you will be graduating soon, you should also forward a copy of any emails that you want to keep to your personal account. They will be deleted from Tufts’ servers after you graduate.
