Disabling Automatic Virtual Meetings
Disabling Automatic Virtual MeetingsOverview
Microsoft’s “Every Meeting Online (EMO)” feature automatically adds virtual meetings to Outlook appointments you schedule. This setting is enabled and uses MS Teams virtual meetings by default. This can cause confusion for users, particularly when they were already planning on using another service, like Zoom, or when they didn’t want to include a virtual meeting link at all. This page contains guidance on how to disable EMO so that virtual meetings are not automatically added to Outlook appointments.
