Microsoft OneDrive: Personal Cloud Storage
Microsoft OneDrive: Personal Cloud StorageWhat is OneDrive?
OneDrive is Microsoft’s personal cloud storage space (as opposed to SharePoint which is intended more for group storage and collaboration). Through your Tufts Microsoft account, you can access your OneDrive content on any internet-connected device via the OneDrive web service, desktop application, and mobile applications.
Visit the OneDrive website and log in with your Tufts credentials. When you first log in, you’ll see a collection of your content from across M365, including not only OneDrive, but also SharePoint sites you might have access to, Outlook email attachments, and more.
To view your OneDrive content, select My files in the lefthand menu. Learn more about the OneDrive website by visiting the OneDrive Web Interface page.
Web App Interface
The OneDrive website is a convenient way to access your cloud content, with many options for organization and management.
One your My files page, you’ll see content that you own, which you can filter, sort, view details of, etc. You may also see shortcuts to content owned by other people/groups.
Visit the OneDrive download site to download the desktop application.
Visit your mobile device’s app store to download the OneDrive mobile application.
