Access and Rights

TTS identifies and provides the appropriate level of server access to customers to maintain their services.

Remote server management can be accomplished through SSH and RDP protocols, but management requests must originate while connected via Tufts VPN AnyConnect. See Using Tufts AnyConnect for more information.

Resource Allocations (CPU, RAM, Storage)

TTSĀ tracks performance usage of provisioned servers. If a server request was over-provisioned, TTS may recommend a course of action to reduce resource allocation or virtual location of the server. In most instances, these changes are accomplished with a reboot of the server during a defined maintenance window.
