Receiving and Completing Requests
Overview
When a request is sent to you, you will receive an email notification with a link to the file that needs to be signed. The request will also appear in your Box Sign dashboard.
- Log in to tufts.box.com.
- Select Sign in the left-hand menu.
- Click Inbox at the top of the page. A list of requests that have been sent to you will be displayed. Hovering your mouse over a request will make action buttons appear.
From here you can…- Click Review Request to complete the request.
- Click on the More options button to see options for reviewing/completing the request, downloading the document, and more.
- If this is a request you have already completed you will see a View Details button, which you can click on to see more detailed information about the request, including when each person signed it, etc.
- When a request is sent to you, Box will send you a notification. Click the “Review document” link in the email. (You can also access your signature requests from the Box Sign dashboard.)
- A notice will appear about accepting Box Sign’s terms of service and more. Check the box and then click Accept & Continue.
- Scroll through the document and fill in each of the fields by clicking on it and providing the requested information. Green guide arrows will appear to help guide you. You can also use the Next and Back buttons to navigate.
If necessary, click on the Request Details icon to open up a panel with options to:

Decline the request

Reassign the request to someone else

Download the file

Print a copy of the file

When you’re done, click Sign & Finish toward the top right of the window.
A notification will appear on the screen to let you know you are done. You will receive an email with a link to the signed document and signing log after all parties have signed.
- Log in to the Tufts Box website with your Tufts credentials.
- Select Sign in the left-hand menu.
- Click the dropdown arrow next to the "Request Signature" button in the top right corner of the page and click Sign Myself.
- A new request page will appear. To select a file for signing, click the + button and then choose “Choose from Box” or “Upload File.” You can also drag-and-drop a file.
- A notice will appear about accepting Box Sign’s terms of service and more. Check the box and then click Accept & Continue.
- A preview of your file will appear with a panel on the right-hand side where you can finish preparing your request.
- To add more files to your request, click on the Add button in the left-hand Files toolbar. You can choose files from Box or upload files from another location. Repeat as necessary.
- From the Signatures & Fields box, click-and-drag desired form fields into your document.
- Fill in the form fields as necessary.
- In the Save Location box, select the folder in Box where you'd like to save the final document and Signing Log to.
- When you’re done, click Sign & Finish toward the top right of the window.
