Setting Preferences
Navigate the drop downs below to learn how to adjust various settings on the Mac Jabber web application.
Using Cisco Jabber you have the ability to set certain options based on your preferences.
Accessing Preferences

On the Menu bar click Jabber.

Select Preferences.

Go to Jabber > Preferences.

Select the Audio/Video Tab.

Set Microphone to desired microphone source (ex. Plantronics C320 or USB Audio Device)

Set Audio Call Output to desired output source (ex. PlantronicsC320 or USB Audio Device)

Set Ringer & Alerts to System Audio Output. (This ensures you will hear incoming calls.)
Upon your initial log in, you can set up Jabber to sign you in each time you launch your computer. If you decided to turn it off or did not check it at the first sign in you can do it manually through the options window.

Go to Jabber > Preferences.

Select the General tab.

Check the box "Start Cisco Jabber when my computer starts."

Go to Jabber > Preferences.

Select the Calls tab and stay in the secondary General tab.

Check (or uncheck) the box Always start my calls with video.
