The Grouper Homepage
To access Grouper, visit grouper.tufts.edu and log in with your Tufts credentials. (If you are not on campus, you will need to use the Tufts VPN for access!)
When you log into Grouper, you’ll see a homepage similar to the one below. Use the menu on the left to navigate folders and groups. You will only see folders/groups that you were granted access to. For most users, this includes the IAMPublic folder and any personal folders for their specific use case(s).
(1) Quick actions – Quick access to common actions, like create a new group.
(2) Quick links – Links to useful pages, like your folders.
(3) Folder browser – An expandable tree view of your Grouper folders.
(4) Recent activity – Recent actions you’ve performed in Grouper.
(5) Favorites – Folders and groups you’ve marked as favorites.
(6) Groups you manage – A list of groups you have administrative access over.
All Grouper content is stored in the “Root” folder, including the IAMPublic folder and your personal folders. To expand a folder, click on the ‘+’ next to it.
Click on a folder or group name to display it in the main portion of the window.
