Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) is a cloud-powered productivity platform, with a broad range of tools that enable content creation and storage, communication, collaboration, and much more! It is available for free to Tufts faculty, staff and students for their personally-owned devices, as well as devices owned by the University and managed by TTS.

Tufts faculty, staff, and students have access to:

  • Online and locally-installed versions of a variety of tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
    • Users may install the suite of M365 apps on up to five compatible computers (PCs and Macs), plus five tablets and mobile devices
  • Automatically updatable, subscription-based software ensures faculty, students, and staff always have the latest version of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
