Microsoft 365
Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) is a cloud-powered productivity platform, with a broad range of tools that enable content creation and storage, communication, collaboration, and much more! It is available for free to Tufts faculty, staff and students for their personally-owned devices, as well as devices owned by the University and managed by TTS.
Tufts faculty, staff, and students have access to:
- Online and locally-installed versions of a variety of tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Users may install the suite of M365 apps on up to five compatible computers (PCs and Macs), plus five tablets and mobile devices
- Automatically updatable, subscription-based software ensures faculty, students, and staff always have the latest version of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.

All Tufts students, faculty and staff have access to Microsoft 365.
- Visit https://login.microsoftonline.com.
- At the login page, enter your Tufts email address (e.g., John.Jumbo@tufts.edu).
- You will be redirected to a Tufts login page requesting that you enter your Tufts Username (e.g., jjumbo01) and password.

1) Search - Browse your M365 content (e.g., OneDrive and Sharepoint content, Outlook email attachments, etc.)
2) Copilot - Use Microsoft's Copilot AI tool
3) Apps - Access Microsoft apps and services
4) Download - On the Apps page, you can download and install available desktop versions of Microsoft applications (A5 license required)
