Moving and Copying
Overview
You can move and copy content within the OneDrive website. If you have the OneDrive desktop application, you can also move/copy content through that.
Remember that moving content changes the location of the original file/folder, while copying creates a duplicate that is independent from the original.
- Log in to the OneDrive website with your Tufts credentials.
- Select My files in the lefthand menu.
- Navigate to the file/folder you want to manage.
- Click the options button for the file/folder, then select Move to or Copy to.
- In the window that opens, navigate to the desired destination folder. You can also create a new folder from here.
- When you’re ready, click Move here or Copy here (depending on what you’re doing).
