Adjusting Meeting Options

Overview

Before and during meetings, the meeting Organizer (scheduler) can manage settings such as which participants can bypass the virtual lobby, who can have the Presenter role, and whether an entry/exit tone plays as people join/leave the meeting.

  1. Open the Microsoft Teams application.
  2. Select Calendar from the left-hand menu.Calendar icon

  5. A page will open in your browser. From here, you can determine who can bypass the virtual lobby, what happens when callers join/leave, and who can have the presenter role during your meeting.Meeting options page
  6. When you’re done, click Save.
  1. Click on the People icon in the meeting toolbar to open the People panel.People panel with meeting permission button highlighted
  2. Click the Manage permissions icon (meeting permissions icon).
  3. A page will open in your browser. From here, you can determine who can bypass the virtual lobby, what happens when callers join/leave, and who can have the presenter role during your meeting.Meeting options page
