Joining a Meeting
Overview
When you are invited to a virtual meeting in Teams, the meeting will appear on your calendar in both Teams and Outlook. You may also receive an email notification with a link to the meeting.
- Find the event on your calendar and open it.
- Click the Join button.
- A meeting window will open. Configure your audio and video, then click Join now.
If dial-in information is provided for a meeting, you can call in on your phone.
- Find the meeting info. For example, you may have it in a calendar event.
- Dial into the phone number provided.
- When asked, enter the Conference ID number, followed by Pound (#).
- The next steps depend on whether or not you are the meeting organizer/scheduler.
- If you are the meeting organizer, when you are prompted…
- Press Star (*).
- Enter your Dial-In PIN, followed by Pound (#). For information on locating your PIN, visit the Dial-In PIN page.
- After the tone, record your name, then press Pound (#).
- You will be admitted to the meeting.
