Finding an Event

Events in the Reserve Tufts Web Client can be found in a couple of ways. Finding an event is the first step before editing reservation/booking details or sending a confirmation email.

(Note: Must be accessed via the Tufts VPN if you are not using a secure on-campus internet connection.)

The Book is a good place to start if you already know the location and date/time of an event.

1. Click Book in the top toolbar.

2. Building – Use the dropdown menu to select a Building, Area, or View that contains the location of the event.

3. View – Select a daily, weekly, or monthly calendar view.

4. Date – Pick the date to be displayed.

5. Scroll through the Book and find the event you want to view.

6. Double-click on an event to bring up the Event Details window.

Finding an event in the Book

 

The Navigator can be used to find an event if you know its Reservation ID or Booking Number.

1. Click Navigator in the top toolbar.

2. Open – Use the dropdown menu to choose whether to search by Booking Number or Reservation ID.

3. Enter the Booking Number or Reservation ID into the appropriate field.

4. Click OK. The event associated with the information you provided will appear in an Event Details window.

If you don’t know any of the specific details about an event, the Browser can be used to perform a simple search.

1. Click Browser in the top toolbar.

2. Use the Browse For dropdown menu to specify if you want to search for Reservations, Bookings, or one of the other options.

3. Use the text fields and dropdown menus to set your search criteria. You can filter by starting/ending date, group, building, room, etc.

4. Click Get Data when you are ready to search. Items that match your criteria will appear in the Results tab.

5. Double-click on a search result to open the event it is associated with in an Event Details window.
