Generating Reports

(Note: The Reserve Tufts Web Client must be accessed via the Tufts VPN if you are not using a secure on-campus internet connection.)

Reports in Reserve Tufts are summaries of data in the system. There are many different types of reports to choose from. Some of the more commonly used types of reports include:

  • Room Cards
  • Event Schedules

A Room Card is a report of the events that are scheduled to occur in a room on a given day. An example is shown below.

How to Generate Room Cards

1. Select Reports in the top menu.

2. Select Daily > Room Cards.

3. In the Date Range tab, select Starting and Ending Dates (usually the same day).

4. Click on the Buildings tab.

5. Use the arrow keys to select Areas, Buildings, or Views.

6. Click on the Statuses tab.

7. Use the arrow keys to move Confirmed and/or Academic Confirmed (if academics are scheduled in your spaces) to the right-hand column.

8. Click on the Event Types tab.

9. Use the arrow keys to move all of the event types to the right-hand column.

10. Click on the Options tab.

11. Select Print Blank Room Cards.

12. Select Print Logo. You can also choose where you would like the logo to be placed.

13. Use the Output Format dropdown to select PDF.

14. Click Generate Report.

An Event Schedule is a type of report that lists all of the events that are scheduled to occur in a given location(s). An example is shown below.

How to Generate an Event Schedule

1. Select Reports in the top menu.

2. Select Daily > Event Schedule.

3. In the Date Range tab, select Starting and Ending Dates.

4. In the Format dropdown menu, select By Date.

5. Click on the Buildings tab.

6. Use the arrow keys to select Areas, Buildings, or Views to include in your report.

7. Click on the Statuses tab.

8. Use the arrow keys to move the Confirmed, Academic Confirmed (if necessary), and Confirmed-Private statuses to the right-hand column.

9. Click on the Event Types tab.

10. Use the arrow keys to move ALL of the event types to the right-hand column.

12. Use the arrow keys to move all of the group types to the right-hand column.

13. Click on the Options tab.

14. Select Use Page Breaks.

15. Select Show Holidays.

16. Use the Output Format dropdown to select PDF.

17. Click Generate Report.
