1. Use the search bar or under Institutional Software look for Prism

    

2. Click on Prism 9
    
3. Select Add to Cart
    
4. Click View Full Cart Students may see a warning to check with their Professor prior to purchasing the software.
    
5. Click the first option to place the order for yourself, then click Check Out
6. Select the tab for the type of payment: Credit Card, PayPal, or Organizational account 
   • CreditCard: Select the Credit Card tab and enter the card information and contact information. Note: If a Tufts Purchasing Card (PCard) is used, the amount will be deducted from your school or department's budget.
   • PayPal: Select PayPal then enter the email address of the PayPal account you want to use. 
   • Organizational Account: Select the Organizational Account tab and enter the Account number (5424 for software), DeptID and optionally, Project/Grant number
7. Check the “I am not a robot” Captcha box
    
8. Click Continue
    
9. Confirm all your information is accurate, then click Proceed with Order
    
10. Once purchased, you will receive an email to your Tufts email address that will include both a receipt for your records as well as installation instructions.

 Before starting your order please note:

• You will need your staff, faculty or student's Tufts username (UTLN)
• You must do separate orders for faculty/staff and students
• All of your orders will be place "on behalf of" by entering the recipient's Tufts username (jumbo01@tufts.edu)

1. If you are ordering for Staff or Faculty, click the Staff/Faculty tab. If you are ordering for Students, click the Students tab. Only school or department administrators will have permission to order for others.

6. Select I am placing this order on behalf of:
   • When purchasing for someone else: Click the second option then enter the person’s contact info in the format UTLN@tufts.edu.  Note: You can buy for multiple people by entering a comma separated list (i.e. jumbo01@tufts.edu, jumbo02@tufts.edu).
      
7. Select the tab for the type of payment: Credit Card, PayPal, or Organizational account

As soon as your purchase is complete you can download the software. NOTE: Administrator access is required to install the software. If you do not have Administrator access to your computer, please contact IT Help at it@tufts.edu or 617-627-3376.

Your download and receipt are available anytime from your On The Hub account. If an administrator ordered the software for someone else, both the administrator and the recipient will be able to access the receipt and the download instructions from their own account.

1. Login to tufts.onthehub.com
2. Click under your name and select Your Account/Orders
3. Find the correct order in your list of orders
4. Click View Details
5. Click the Download button

You do not need to install your software right away. When you are ready to install:

1. Login to tufts.onthehub.com.
2. Under your name in the upper right, click and select Your Account/Orders.
3. Find the correct order in your list of orders. Click View Details.
4. Copy the serial number (it will start with GP).  Click the Download button.

   NOTE: You must have Administrative rights to your computer to install Prism.  If you do not have Admin rights, please call, IT Support at 617-627-3376. 

5. Install Prism by clicking on the downloaded file. 
6. Once the install is complete, a Register Prism box appears.
7. Paste the serial number that starts with GP that was found in your Order Details, select Next Step.
8. Complete the Prism Register form by entering your name, Tufts email address (first.last@tufts.edu), institution(Tufts University).  Click Submit.  Note: Prism software can only be installed on this computer.  The software is registered to your computer and name. 
9. The activation code will appear in a separate pop-up window. Copy the code. 
10. Go back to the Prism Machine ID window and Select the Enter Activation Code button.   

     

11. At License Agreement window, paste the activation code, select the check box to agree to license agreement, and select Start Using Prism button. 

     

12. You may be prompted to update software to v9.2.  If so, select the Install Update button. 
13. After update is complete, start using Prism.  You will receive an email from GraphPad software that you have register Prism on your computer.
