Tufts University Procurement Supplier Bulletin

Product/Service: Security Technology (including but not limited to Card Access, Video Cameras, Alarms, Panic Buttons) for related software, maintenance, repair, and new installations

Supplier: BCM

Tufts Locations: All Tufts Campus Locations

Background:

Tufts Technology Services (TTS) and Procurement issued a request for proposal (RFP) and received bids for security technology systems and equipment service and repair for all Tufts University campus locations. The scope of this effort will cover the following:

  • Manufacturer Software Maintenance
  • Software Support Services
  • Project Planning Services
  • Emergency Response Services
  • Preventive Maintenance
  • Remote Support Services
  • Design and Installation services

Through this contract BCM will be the exclusive supplier of these security systems/services for all Tufts University campus locations.

This new contract will require your support communicating the supplier change to your teams.

BCM will be the exclusive supplier and other non-BCM companies will not be permitted to perform this work unless otherwise directed by TTS.

  • Use of Tufts standard contract terms and SOW to ensure defined work requirements and proper supplier insurance for risk mitigation and issue resolution

  • Reporting of results and deficiencies as they are discovered for Tufts immediate action
  • Improved life cycle management and planning

All inquiries for service and new requests must be directed to TTS Operations IT who will work with BCM on quote requests and planning.
