Mark J. Damian
Mark leads the team responsible for the development and support of enterprise administrative and student systems for Tufts. Major applications include PeopleSoft Finance, PeopleSoft HR, and PeopleSoft Student Systems. Other University applications supported in Enterprise Applications (EA) include ServiceNow and Salesforce CRM. Mark has been working in higher education since 1983 and has progressive experience in a research laboratory, laboratory administration, and central administration. Mark transitioned to a career in IT over 20 years ago and has been responsible for the management and introduction of many enterprise-class systems. Mark strives to forge strong partnerships with his business clients and takes pride in his role in Capital IT Planning for Tufts.
Prior to Tufts, Mark worked in IT at MIT where he was Manager of the Student Systems Team. In that role, Mark and his team was responsible for applications and systems that operated Registrar, Admissions, and Student Financial business processes.
Mark graduated from Western New England College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. When not working, Mark enjoys sports, the outdoors and spending time with his family.
