Bio

Ron is responsible for overseeing strategic program development and outreach initiatives on behalf of the Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer. As a member of the senior leadership team, Ron facilitates strategic planning and execution of TTS’s major strategic initiatives and represents the Office of the CIO with key university leaders, stakeholders and business partners. As Staff Officer Ron works closely with TTS leadership to identify opportunities and coordinate activities across the various directorates of TTS.

Ron has management experience in a wide range of sectors, including higher education, online media and technology, broadcasting and telecommunications, and law. Prior to coming to Tufts Ron spent more than a decade as Director of Interactive Media at WGBH Boston, where he oversaw the expansion of WGBH’s marquis educational television programs on to digital platforms and supported WGBH’s online service creating curriculum-based educational resources from its vast broadcast archive. Earlier in his career Ron held management positions in broadcasting and cable and also practiced law at large law firms in Boston and New York.

Ron holds a BS in Communications Management from Ithaca College and a JD from Boston University School of Law. He is also a trained mediator and a former member of the Massachusetts and New York bars.
