Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication (2FA) uses DuoSecurity to add a second layer of security when accessing protected systems and services.

2FA can help protect your Tufts account should someone else learn your password. Once you enroll in 2FA, certain two-factor enabled web applications will require you to:

  1. Log in with your Tufts Username and Password.
  2. Verify your identity using a physical device that you control – such as a mobile phone, tablet, or landline phone.
