Computer Tips: Mapping Q: Drive and Other Network Drives

Tufts network storage, or shares, are folders and directories on secure Tufts servers that are accessible from any computer logged into the university network. The content of these network shares is secured, so only those who should have access do have access. They are also backed up nightly, so storing files on your network drives protects you from the loss of important data.

Two common shared drives are the Q: (shared departmental data storage) drive and the R: (research data storage) drive.
