Mapping Network Drives on Windows and Mac

Learn what Tufts network storage drives are and how to connect to your network drives on both Windows and Macs in this short Online Guide.

Tufts network storage, or shares, are folders and directories on secure Tufts servers that are accessible from any computer logged into the university network. The content of these network shares is secured, so only those who should have access do have access. They are also backed up nightly, so storing files on your network drives protects you from the loss of important data. Two very common shares are the P: (personal share for individual data storage) and Q: (shared departmental data storage) drives.
