Benefits and Features:

Volume licensing reduces costs associated with university's purchase and use of software. The Volume Discount Program works to identify software products that have a broad install base or the potential for one and facilitates making those products more readily accessible to the university community.

  • Depending on the availability, the program provides or finds centralized funding or partial subsidies to cover software licensing or maintenance costs
  • Software coordinators from the three campuses coordinate volume software purchases to allow for better discounting
Fees:

Fees vary with each software product; check the Available Software section for specific software information.

Requirements:
  • Most Tufts-coordinated software volume licensing agreements require an active Tufts Username and Tufts Password.
  • Many Volume Licensing Program software products include installation restrictions; check the individual software Service page or request help through TechConnect for specific software restrictions.
